Ponies play a main part in why my fiance’ left me. Everything was fine till FIM started, he knew I loved my little ponies, and did a few customs, but he did not know the extent of it. Whenever I talked about the show, or ponies in general, his mood would always change negatively. So in the end I chose ponies over him.

i’ve thought about this scenario ever since i joined the brony community, and i have to say that without a doubt, i would choose watching my little pony over any woman ever. i have had girlfriends who were into stuff i can’t even understand, like objectivism. if i had been negative about something that they care about, what kind of guy would that make me?

incidentally the objectivist hated Trigun, and lost her mind when i said that Franklin Delano Roosevelt was my favorite president. seriously, she couldn’t even believe what i had said when i used FDR and positive words in the same sentence. that should have been a warning sign i think.
